Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Ashley, the owner and creative force behind PartyAfterParty.
PartyAfterParty is a Winnipeg-based event rental and balloon décor company specializing in thoughtfully designed celebrations. From statement balloon installations and custom backdrops to marquee letters, flower walls, event signage and specialty rentals, we help transform ordinary spaces into memorable experiences.
Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration, a milestone birthday, a wedding or a large corporate event, our goal is to create décor that feels intentional, polished and personal to you.
How it all began…
PartyAfterParty began in 2019 when I was 19 years old and planning my baby shower.
I wanted a pink flower wall for the celebration, so I decided to invest in one and rent it out afterward to recover the cost. What started with one backdrop quickly became something much bigger. I welcomed my first rental client in January 2020, added a green and white flower wall shortly afterward and continued growing the collection one piece at a time.
In 2021, I began teaching myself balloon décor, spending time practicing and developing my own techniques. In March 2022, I completed my first paid balloon installation and in the same month we began building our collection of marquee le right here in our shop.
Balloons became an important part of the business, allowing me to continue investing in new rentals, equipment and custom-built pieces. What began as a creative side business eventually grew into my full-time career and the company PartyAfterParty is today.
More Than Event Décor
For me, this business is about more than making a space look beautiful. It is about helping people celebrate the moments that matter most.
Every event is approached with creativity, care and attention to detail. I love taking a client’s inspiration and turning it into something personalized rather than simply recreating another event. Each design is thoughtfully adapted to the space, occasion and overall vision.
PartyAfterParty has had the privilege of creating décor for birthdays, baby showers, weddings, graduations, community celebrations, corporate events and many other unforgettable occasions throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
Locally Made, Thoughtfully Designed
Many of our wooden backdrops, marquee letters and specialty rental pieces are made locally and in-house. Building our own inventory allows us to offer unique pieces while maintaining the quality and look we want for our clients.
If you have an idea that you do not see in our current collection, we may also be able to create a custom rental piece for your event. We love bringing new ideas to life—and some of our favourite additions have started with a client’s vision.
